The Ant Philosophy

If you put your foot down in front of an ant that is going somewhere, it will not stop. The ant will climb over, under, around. It will never quit. It will never stop searching for another path to where it is supposed to go.

During the summer the ant thinks about the coming winter. Summer does not last forever, so the ant always gathers its food for the winter when it can. Even in the calm of summer, a storm may be coming.

During the winter an ant thinks of the coming summer. The ant knows that it will soon be able to come out from its nest and that it will be summer again. On the first warm day the ant will come out, and if it becomes cold again the ant will go down and wait for the next warm day. But it knows that summer will come.

And the ant will begin again to gather food for the coming winter, and the ant will gather all it possibly can.

The ant never gives up, it looks ahead, it stays positive, and it does all it can.
