Presentation Technique assures insurer Trygg-HansaThe ability to make a good presentation is important for employees at Trygg-Hansa. - We should be easy to understand, and clear in our communication. And that’s what Mindset has really helped to support,” says Christer Engström, Manager of Learning and Development at Trygg-Hansa. The goal of the training course is to increase employees’ feeling of security, assuredness, and readiness in planning, structuring, and delivering professional presentations. The course has received an incredibly positive response. So far, over 60 employees have taken the course, and more courses are planned. During the course, participants have practiced presenting and have received direct personal feedback from both course leaders and other course takers. They have also been filmed. The participants have taken away strong examples to practice with, so the training is directly tied to their daily reality. The result has been that course takers get a stronger impact and response to the content from their presentations and, through familiarity with a basic presentation structure, the course takers are also able to prepare more effectively leaving more time for other work tasks. - I see an increased demand for the training course, and there is a constant need. One effect I have seen is that it has created an increased awareness in employees of how they act. They think about how they can be clearer and continue to learn during their workday, after the course. - Mindset is truly service-oriented and flexible, and there are never any problems or difficulties. They listen, ask good questions, and are, above all else, competent. They quickly understood our company’s culture.
