Managing a project is an art. Talent and common sense can take you only part of the way there. Knowledge of the models, structures and the tools that are available gives better control; it gives the control that is required to drive a project - with strength and precision - to the goal. Projects, as a rule, have to meet critical goals in a limited time with a limited budget. It requires drive, responsibility and knowledge both from the project manager and the other project members.

Course Description

During the three-day training, we will explore the basics of project work and provide you with the techniques and methods you should master in order to manage and / or take part in a project. You will gain a greater understanding of how projects progress and learn how to use a project control model as a tool and source of support. You will gradually work your way through a project from beginning to end. At every step along the way, you will learn what to do during each phase, as well as pick up valuable tools and lessons. Throughout the training, you will work with a practical, true-to-life case that gives you a clear perspective on how projects develop in the real world.

Course Goals

Once the training is over, you will have an increased understanding of project management. You will possess basic knowledge about the key aspects of project management, and you will be acquainted with a general project control model. You will have greater expertise when it comes to planning, estimating the resources required for and monitoring projects. You will have a deeper understanding of how your leadership affects the outcome of a project.
