Tomorrow’s development through training

Getting knowledge out to employees all over the world is problematic for any global organization. If in addition, there is a need for continuity and continuous development, then Branded and Blended Learning can be a wise choice when it comes to training.

Blended learning – a smart form of training

The idea with Blended Learning is to combine difference types of knowledge sources. First, there is a basic training done through the Internet. This gives a level of preparation and gets the participants thinking and generating ideas. This also raises the level of knowledge when they get to the teacher-led portion of the training.

- This makes it possible to base the training or actual cases. In addition, the participants are able to reflect on the information in a different way when they have this background knowledge. As a result, the training has a more lasting effect, says Gunnar Berg.

Branded learning ensures continuity

- Branded learning makes it possible to re-use material for new product launches. By doing this, participants can recognize aspects from previous training and continuity can also be ensured on a global level. In addition, there is a continuous development of our products and this demands continual product training and launching. With help from Branded learning, it is possible to create a well-thought out training packet for service technicians as well as salespeople, he continues.

Breaking the trend in the organization

- Previously, we’ve had a negative wave in terms of quotations and generating orders. Now the trend is up again, despite the market. Sales awareness has increased and we’ve found a common language. Our employees react quickly to leads and they move through the process with more awareness whether they are a salesperson or a technician, says Gunnar Berg.

- It’s true that both our service technicians and our salespeople are getting sales training. They feel that they have gotten new responsibility and can create more value, which is a win for everyone. Allowing everyone to receive training was a conscious choice, says Anna Gagnor-Nyström.

Future

- The vision is that the product application training and the soft skills training can be connected and to mix the product and sales training. Also, the idea is to put a firm foundation of competence in place in the organization and then to come in with specific training efforts when and where it is needed. Everyone sees the need for this training journey, and if we can complete the journey, this will be a real success, Anna concludes. ;
