Measureable increase of Clarion Collection’s profit


Mindset has worked together with Clarion Collection in a development program for the hotel’s reception staff. The program was called Sales-like communication and its aim was for the reception staff to become more confident in terms of asking the guests more questions about their real needs and wishes.

In addition, the hotel chain wanted to clarify the entire range of Clarion Collection’s services and in this way contribute to an increased profitability.

Active customer relations

During the training, the reception staff received training in more sales-like communication by:
• Finding a good structure for discussions both on the phone
  and in meetings
• Asking about and finding the real wishes and needs of their business travel clients
• Presenting the hotel’s services and add-on sales possibilities
• Handling objections
• Having the confidence to sell the hotel and its services at the
  right price

The result

Clarion Collection’s Sweden Manager, Robert Wilhelmsson says: -The training has contributed to a considerable increase in profit at Clarion Collection.
