To create business value, the different leadership programs were developed in line with Väderstad's strategy work. The capability needs and management challenges defined in the business plan were translated into leadership development activities. The programs were stretched out over time and had a variety of guided interactions to create behaviors that lead to desired outcomes. Programs were conducted for first-line managers in production and in services, for managers leading managers in R&D, Production and Sales, for change managers and for the Executive Committee. To maintain focus, management team development and regular leadership development activities are carried out.
All programs met expectations and created the desired business benefits such as increased productivity, safety and quality.
